What identification do I need?

California law requires a current, government-issued photo ID — for example a driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID. The ID must be unexpired (or issued within the last five years) and the name must match the document being signed.

Can you come to hospitals?

Yes. I provide bedside notarizations at hospitals throughout the service area. I will coordinate respectfully with staff and family to make the visit calm and unhurried.

What areas do you serve?

Mobile notary and loan signing appointments are available throughout the Greater Sacramento region, including Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, Nevada, Yuba, and Sutter Counties, generally within a 50-mile service radius.
Apostille assistance is different. Because much of the process can be handled by mail or courier, I can assist clients throughout California. If you are unsure whether your request requires an in-person visit, just reach out and I will be happy to explain your options.

Can you come to my home?

Yes. Home visits are welcome — at the kitchen table, in the living room, wherever you will feel most comfortable.

Do you charge travel fees?

A modest travel fee may apply depending on distance and appointment details. You will always receive a personalized quote before the appointment is confirmed — no surprises.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Cash, Cashier's Checks. Payment is collected at the time of the appointment unless otherwise arranged.

Can you explain legal documents?

No. By law, notaries are not permitted to give legal advice or interpret documents. If you have legal questions, I will gladly recommend you speak with a qualified attorney before signing.

Do all signers need to be present?

Yes. Every signer must be physically present, willing, aware, and able to acknowledge the document being notarized.

Can you notarize documents at hospitals, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities?

Absolutely. Senior and assisted living visits are a meaningful part of my practice. We regularly travel to hospitals, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, memory care communities, hospice facilities, and other licensed care locations.  We work with patients, families, and healthcare staff to provide convenient mobile notarization wherever permitted by the facility.

Do you travel after normal business hours?

Yes. I understand that important moments don’t always happen during regular business hours. Evening, weekend, and after-hours appointments may be available when scheduling permits. If you have an urgent need, please call or text me, and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule.
